GROOM’S CAKE

Blue Bell Creameries

The flavor that turned your most special day into an ice cream.

When Blue Bell introduced Groom’s Cake in 2009, they captured a wedding tradition in frozen form. Groom’s Cake featured milk chocolate ice cream packed with chocolate cake pieces and chocolate-coated strawberry hearts. Swirled with strawberry sauce and chocolate icing.

COOKIE CAKE

Blue Bell Creameries

A simple idea that just worked.

Cookie Cake took the beloved birthday tradition and transformed it into scoopable bliss. Sweet cream ice cream loaded with chocolate chip cookie cake pieces, swirled with both chocolate and vanilla icing. It was like having your cake and eating it too, literally.

TIRAMISU

Blue Bell Creameries

My wife’s favorite.

Imagine coffee-flavored ice cream that brings the famous Italian dessert in a half-gallon container. Smooth coffee ice cream loaded with cake pieces, dark chocolate flakes, caramel sauce, and whipped topping.

Creating tiramisu in ice cream form meant balancing the intensity of coffee with creamy sweetness. Blue Bell nailed it, but sadly, this ice cream was discontinued.

KEY LIME PIE

Blue Bell Creameries

A taste of Florida sunshine in every spoon.

When Blue Bell expanded beyond Texas, they embraced regional flavors. Key Lime Pie captured the essence of Florida’s signature dessert. It was formulated with tangy key lime ice cream, graham cracker crust pieces, and swirls of whipped topping.

CHERRY AMARETTO CORDIAL

Blue Bell Creameries

Sophistication meets indulgence.

This was Blue Bell’s venture into grown-up flavors. Amaretto ice cream (non-alcoholic) blended with praline-coated almonds and maraschino cherries created something that felt both familiar and exotic.

Not every Blue Bell customer was ready for almond liqueur flavors, but those who tried it loved it.

TRIPLE CHOCOLATE

Blue Bell Creameries

When chocolate lovers said “more,” Blue Bell listened.

Why choose between Dutch chocolate, milk chocolate, and vanilla when you could have all three? Triple Chocolate blended three chocolate flavors with rich chocolate sundae sauce. It was the ultimate chocolate lover’s dream.

The more the better. Right?

HOT FUDGE BROWNIE

Blue Bell Creameries

Comfort food from your childhood, but frozen.

Some flavors bring you back to mom’s kitchen. Hot Fudge Brownie captured those moments when someone’s mom pulled fresh brownies from the oven and served them with vanilla ice cream. Blue Bell made the concept viable.

Every spoonful delivered chunks of actual brownie and ribbons of hot fudge, creating that perfect contrast between hot and cold.

STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE

Blue Bell Creameries

New York dessert culture meets Texas ice cream craftsmanship.

Rich cheesecake ice cream loaded with actual cheesecake pieces, fresh strawberries, and strawberry sundae sauce. Creating cheesecake ice cream that actually tasted like cheesecake required mastering texture, tang, and richness simultaneously.

LEMON BLISS

Blue Bell Creameries

Sunshine in a scoop.

One of the most overlooked Blue Bell flavors. Lemon Bliss combined bright lemon ice cream with vanilla crème-filled cookies, creating something simple, yet perfect.

But getting lemon right in ice cream means walking the line between tart and sweet, refreshing and creamy.

BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE

Blue Bell Creameries

The sophisticated cousin in the cheesecake family.

While strawberry cheesecake was the crowd-pleaser, blueberry brought something different. Rich cheesecake ice cream with cheesecake pieces and blueberry sauce created something more nuanced, more adult.

RASPBERRY FUDGE BROWNIE

Blue Bell Creameries

When chocolate met its perfect partner.

This flavor featured rich chocolate flavors with an attitude. Almond ice cream combined with fudge brownie chunks, dark chocolate flakes, and raspberry sauce created unexpected harmony.

Using almond ice cream as the base instead of chocolate showed Blue Bell’s willingness to take creative risks.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE

Blue Bell Creameries

Holiday magic in every bite.

Seasonal flavors often capture emotions more than tastes. Gingerbread House brought Christmas morning to summer afternoons. This flavor combined cinnamon ice cream, gingerbread pieces, festive sprinkles, marshmallows, and vanilla icing swirls.

MOCHA MADNESS

Blue Bell Creameries

Coffee’s wild side.

While Tiramisu was elegant, Mocha Madness was pure indulgence. Rich coffee ice cream packed with roasted pecan halves, chocolate chips, and smooth caramel sauce.

Chaos, but controlled, in every spoonful.

This flavor had personality. But maybe a bit too much for its own good.

CREOLE CREAM CHEESE

Blue Bell Creameries

Louisiana tradition meets Texas craftsmanship.

When Blue Bell expanded into Louisiana, they learned about local traditions. Creole Cream Cheese honored New Orleans’ unique dairy heritage with smooth, sweet cream cheese ice cream.
