Welch's / Crayola
This back-to-school season, Welch's Fruit Snacks and Crayola are shifting the spotlight away from shopping lists and onto the real heroes of education. Teachers.
America's #1 Fruit Snacks Brand is joining forces with the iconic creativity company to create something special.
"This time of year too often centers on shopping lists and material things," says Jason Levine, Chief Marketing Officer at PIM Brands Inc. "But we believe what matters most is a child's love of learning and the teachers who ignite it."
The collaboration launches with limited-edition interactive packaging that transforms snack time into creative time. The snack gives families a great way to thank educators.
These aren't your typical snack boxes. Each limited-edition package features fruit-themed line art ready for coloring with Crayola products, plus a special panel where families can write personal notes to their favorite teachers.
The fruit snack turns everyday lunch box staples into canvases for creativity and gratitude.
And for the first time, Welch's Mixed Fruit, Berries 'n Cherries, and Fruit Punch varieties now use colors from natural sources.
This represents over a decade of transition work, with full portfolio conversion planned by early 2026. Real fruit as the main ingredient, now with natural colors.
The limited-edition boxes hit shelves at major retailers including Walmart, Target, and HEB starting this month. Available in 10ct, 22ct, and 40ct sizes while supplies last.
The partnership goes beyond packaging with real rewards for educators:
250 teachers will win gift cards for classroom essentials. One grand prize winner's school receives a $10,000 classroom makeover plus Crayola supplies
Families can nominate inspiring educators through September 17, 2025.
