SOUR PATCH KIDS BLIZZARD

This Blizzard mixed red berry soft serve with crushed Sour Patch Kids candy. The flavor fell somewhere between cherry and raspberry, delivering that signature sweet-then-sour punch. When DQ pulled it after one summer, fans begged for its return.

GIRL SCOUT THIN MINTS BLIZZARD

Crushed Thin Mints cookies and mint turned vanilla soft serve pale green. DQ partnered with Girl Scouts in 2008, and this flavor stuck around for fourteen years. It even got its own Blizzard Treat Cake before the Dairy Queen item was discontinued.

NERDS BLIZZARDS

Tiny, crunchy Nerds candy mixed into a Blizzard. They came in Cherry, Orange, Rainbow, and Strawberry varieties throughout the 1990s. When someone asked about it on social media in 2016, DQ confirmed it was gone.

LEMON MERINGUE PIE BLIZZARD

Lemon pie filling and pie crust chunks mixed into vanilla soft serve, topped with whipped cream. DQ rarely uses citrus flavors, making this July 2013 release stand out.

GRASSHOPPER MOUSSE PIE BLIZZARD

Named after the no-bake dessert with chocolate crust and mint filling, this March 2015 flavor combined mint and chocolate chips. It tasted cool and refreshing, like the pie it copied.

BANANA CREAM PIE BLIZZARD

Real banana pieces, pie crust, and banana pudding blended with soft serve and whipped cream. It showed up in spring 2012, sparked enough love to earn its own petition, then vanished.

BREEZE

Discontinued: 2000

DQ launched this Breeze in 1990 when frozen yogurt was everywhere. The Breeze swapped soft serve for non-fat, cholesterol-free frozen yogurt but kept all the same mix-ins. Nobody ordered it. The yogurt sat in freezers until it spoiled.

SNICKERS BLIZZARD

Snickers chunks and chocolate topping lived on the regular menu for years before 2016. DQ tried a Snickers Peanut Butter Pie version in 2019, but the original stayed dead.

VERY CHERRY CHIP BLIZZARD

Dark chocolate chunks and real cherry bits mixed into vanilla soft serve. DQ created this fall 2022 flavor partly because they'd stopped offering cherry topping for sundaes back in 2015.

S'MORES BLIZZARD

Graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows in the form of a Blizzard debuted in 2013 and came back most summers until 2020. DQ tried switching to a S'mores Shake in 2022. That died as well by 2023.

RED VELVET CAKE BLIZZARD

Red velvet cake chunks and cream cheese icing rode the red velvet wave that hit bakeries in the 2010s. DQ offered it through at least 2020, then pulled it off the menu.
